Each monthly amount raised is calculated in the following way: 

•  Each brand feeds a percentage of each purchase back to their individual cause (ex: a fair trade brand may push 90% back to the person who made the item. 

• At the conclusion of the month, I tally how many items were sold and how much money or how many meals (etc.) went back to the cause that brand supports. 

• I figure out how much was donated to the cause-of-the-month

• Add them all up to see how much of an impact was made thanks to my wonderful customers!
